What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. This issue happens when the 3g network is available but signal quality
is low (2 bars or fewer)
2. sipdroid registers with the voip provider over 3g
3. calls are of bad quality.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
i'd like for sipdroid to have a test to see if the 3g network is suitable
for calls.  My first thought is to have a signal bar threshhold like it has
for EDGE.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
version 1.13 beta on Android (cyanogen 4.04)

Which SIP server are you using? What happens with PBXes?
proxy01.sipphone.com.  this issue applies to pbxes.org as well, as of the
last time I used pbxes.org
