ExtLargeMapControl - no control display in IE8 #124

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Internet Explorer 8 on Win XP SP2 
2. browse to
http://gmaps-utility-library.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/extlargemapcontrol/1.1/exa
mples/simple.html

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
No map controls seen 

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Internet Explorer 8 on Win XP SP2 

Please provide any additional information below.
No issue seen with Chrome and Firefox. Found issue after installing
ExtLargeMapControl on my own map.
(http://gallery.josephcarver.com/natural/map_photo_locations.php) 
(it looked great by the way - nice work) 
Then returned to gmaps-utility-library pages with Internet Explorer
and issue persisted.
I wish you success, it is a nice add-on.
