1. view map in firefox at www.mario-baldauf.org/tlmf/map.html
2. dragzoom action
3. cant select text/ image/ form on first hit, have to press
mouseleft-button twice

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
should work like in IE/Chrome/Opera and Safari ;)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
dragzoom 1.3

I think he is referring to the original dragzoomcontrol, not the keydragzoom. I
have
to get myself familiar with the dragzoomcontrol code first before considering
any
fix. Also, I did not see the behavior that was described with Firefox 2.0.0.200.
Maybe it is a FF3 thing?

using both on this map now:
- pressing dragzoom-button fires the buggy(firefox3) laggy(IE7 IE8 tested)
dragzoom
- ctrl+leftmouse fires keydragzoom that behaves well in all browsers
