Exchanging certain tree types #7

Is it possible to exchange a certain type of tree with another, e. g. oak trees by palm trees? Couldn't figure out how the exchanging works.

When you are placing trees, in the tool options panel you should see an icon with a tooltip for "Change Type" in its a row called "Change". That will allow you to use a custom tool that lets you change any tree or bush into any other tree or bush. It doesn't have BOB like filters yet, but you can use the selection modes that are available now. If you have any more questions, let me know.

Street trees will revert soon after changing, I don't recommend that until I do something to try and provide a solution. Some building trees may revert, it depends on building for when it happens. I don't get many complaints about that though, but I believe it happens. I don't have a solution for that since making all trees in a building one type doesn't sound like a valid solution.

Well, I know that icon but that changes ALL types in the selected radius into the selected tree. Is there a way to only change a certain type of tree into another?

Okay, I understand now. That type of filter is on my to-do list, but I haven't done it yet. I reopened the issue now that I understand. At the moment your option is to use single selection, which I understand is not as convenient as you would like.

OK, great to know that you have it in your list! 😊 Keep up the good work! Viele Grüße Matthias Ebner
