Hang on Chrome 14 beta #492

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Enable Smooth Gestures
2. Restart browser
3. First attempt to gesture freezes all panes.
4. Turn off Smooth Gestures and restart.
5. Browser works fine.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected: a line appears as I draw the gesture
What I see: nothing visibly happens, and now I can't scroll, click links or
anything else within the pane. Menus and non-extension pages appear to work
fine.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Chrome 14.0.835.35 beta-m, Smooth Gestures 0.15.4.2, Windows XP Pro 32 bit

Please provide any additional information below.
This install of Chrome has not been without glitches, most related to Chrome's
Flash implementation.

I have the same problem. Clicking on buttons seem to hang the browser for a few
seconds before it starts to work properly. Disabling the extension makes the
buttons and text field behave normally. Enabling the extension reproduces the
original delay problem.
