I don't understand. You say its not working, then you say that it shouldn't
work? What is going on?

no, the opposite.

It works on flash, text, text boxes..but I don't want it to work on them.
(thanks for fast reply by the way :) )

I can understand flash sometimes being a problem, but not text or text boxes.
Any insight? For now when flash is a problem, you can blacklist the website at
the bottom of options.

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
yea, I know I can blacklist..but on some sites it dosen't work well.

examples.
1. I want to block "apps.facebook.com" only, not "facebook.com"..and it does
not work.
2. not all sites are completely flash, for ex. a page with flash and html, I
want it to work on html but not flash, and might not want to blacklist the site.

text + text boxes: huh? It is a problem there too, not much point of having it
work there o.0

There are some actions that specifically work with text. There is no reason to
disable it either. It is better to not have to think about where you are
starting a gesture from.

links right? But what about normal non-link texts?

Since you say it that way, how about making the extension work with text
optional?

Yea..I know that's better, but if it stays like this, it can be hard to do
normal stuff with text without it disabled(highlight, move, copy..etc). So, can
you please, at least make a option to disable on text?

Aha: are you using left mouse button for gesturing?

Original comment by sc...@fujan.name on 25 Jan 2012 at 3:19

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
Yep :P..I'm more used to the left click for doing things like these

That is a very important piece of information that you left out. Hold a
modifier key (like ctrl) while selecting text (or whatever). That will disable
gestures while you are holding it.

Oh, thanks about that. but what if I forget to press that and accidentally use
a guesture?
ex. I might lose some stuff I did..like email and etc (sites that don't have
popup confirmations)

That is a reasonable concern, but I don't have a good answer for it.
