What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Go to any website (I observed it prominently on stackoverflow)
2. Draw a gesture
3. Observe glitches
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect that when a gesture is drawn, the sole visual effect I observe is the
gesture being drawn.
I do observe my gesture being drawn, but also two other effects. They are both
extremely short-lived.
The first glitch only occurs the first time a gesture is drawn on a given page
load. It manifests by rearranging some of the contents of the page, and
immediately the contents are returned to normal. I cannot be clearer on how it
rearranges the contents because it happens so quickly, but there is obvious
movement of elements on the page.
The second glitch happens each time I draw a gesture. When I start to draw a
gesture, the last gesture I drew is displayed, then it hides itself immediately.
Neither of these glitches interfere with functionality; they are purely
cosmetic.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.15.4.12
Windows 7 64-bit
Chrome 18.0.1025.11 beta
Please provide any additional information below.
To reiterate, the glitches are only visible for a fraction of a second; screen
capturing software failed to record them. I've reproduced the problem on on
two systems. My systems recently upgraded to Chrome 18 beta, so that may be
related (maybe even a Chrome bug).
Thanks for the great extension!
