Mouse gestures don't work on customization pages

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Open settings, extensions, plugins, or downloads page; or try the Chrome Web 
Store
2. Then try use any mouse gesture. It doesn't work. Not even the mouse trail is 
shown.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

To get mouse gestures work on any of the customization pages or the downloads 
page.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Chrome 17.0.963.56 m
Windows 7 Ultimate, 64bit

I also can't get mouse gestures to work.  However, my problem is slightly 
different.  I can see the mouse trail, but the command does not execute when i 
release the right click button.  instead it continues making a mouse trail 
until i close the tab.

using mac osx 10.6

really want to dump firefox, but gestures are essential to me

I don't think anything works on those pages. Smooth scrolling doesn't work, 
mouse gestures, screenshot taking apps etc. I think it's by design to prevent 
potentially malicious scripts/extensions from disabling the user's ability to 
turn them off.
