What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open Chrome

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect the extension to work.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Smooth Gestures 0.17.0, Chrome 25.0.1364.172 m

Please provide any additional information below.

I'm sure it's some kind of version incompatibility. It doesn't work in 
incognito or normal mode, and doesn't work on any page.

I can confirm the problem for:

Chromium, version 25.0.1364.160
Smooth Gestures extension, v 0.17.0
Smooth Gestures plugin, v 0.8

On normal pages, the icon in the URL bar has a red exclamation mark; mouseover 
reads "Gestures don't work. Reload"

The extension's options page doesn't work properly:

- none of the existing gestures are listed
- an area is displayed where a new gesture could be entered, but that doesn't 
do anything
- The JS links to the right like "Page Navigation", "Utilities", "Other 
settings" don't do anything.

confirmed with same versions as ticket creator

i know this is old, but until yesterday gestures worked fine, now i get the 
same as previous posters. 

Chrome Version 29.0.1547.76 m
Smooth Gestures version 0.17.7

Same versions as above, same problem for weeks now. I try it occasionally with 
no success. I resist the temptation to uninstall until I find a decent 
replacement. Is there one to try?

Using https://github.com/jk779/Clean-Gestures now. Works like a charm
