Within the user guide, we talk about local-part@domain, afterwards, we talk about domain label constraints and the existence of periods. Would be good to specify more about what the domain label is with respect to the entire email. Especially since we talk about it quite in-depth for the next 3 bullet points.
Prehaps it could be better do restructure the UG to something like:
local-part@sub-domain-label.main-domain-label
Where the idea of a domain label is more properly reflected.
