Mostly for Hydras to share with their friends & family so they can read a piece.

lives at secret URL like flaminghydra.com/hydrafriend or lair.flaminghydra.com
Possibly asks for special code or password to verify access
Prompts for email address
Adds that email as a member
Grants comp Member status with expiration in 7 days
possibly then even redirects to magic login link, so they can get reading!

Adding to this — we should visually indicate that some posts are free somehow. Like the Holiday Preview issue, and we're considering permanently unpaywalling certain posts that have already been published.

I could add a FREE badge or similar in lists. Is that the term we want to use?

We're still kind of mulling on this — are gift links a thing, like on NYT?

Alas, gift links aren't a thing on Ghost (it's been sitting as an idea in the Ghost Forums for four years). Outpost might have more detail in public blog posts, I'd have to check again.
