This looks like a lot of changes, but it is not as many as it seems. Please pull down my fork and test building with it if you are worried about something being broken.
Essentially, I updated the building scripts to fix the issues in #2 and #4. This should make building faster and more reliable, and print out more useful information when it fails. I also updated the readme with the requested information, and labeled the theme previews.
I also addressed #3 by adding a PKGBUILD file. This should allow anyone on Arch to run makepkg -si and have the package manager install the cursors properly. It should be noted that this is not currently in the AUR.
Finally, I removed unnecessary files which are generated when building, including the dist directory, the x1, x1_25, etc. directories in src, and anything else which is created by the build/install scripts. This should declutter the repository, but if you would rather not remove them, I can change it back or include built versions of all themes.
