Linked files, sidebar and search all don't work #151

Platform:
Mac

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Copy directory of .chm files from PC to Mac
2. Open a .chm file in ichm
3. Some files display both the main data and the contents in the sidebar. Some 
files display empty data but contents in the sidebar but none of the sidebar 
links work. If there are links in the main data, those are clickable but only 
the first page of the linked data will display (as compared to viewing the .chm 
files on a PC).

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
ichm 1.4.3 on Mac OS X 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard)
