This tool will take a PSX image that you legally own and convert it to be playable on the Xperia Play with the emulator extracted from the packaged game "Crash Bandicoot."

Tablet S not installing app #51

Open InnocentSam opened 12 years ago

InnocentSam commented 12 years ago

By using these files supplied on your thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=803012&d=1322867423 I was able to compile a PSXperia game using my tablet's Crash Bandicoot APK/ZPAK (which is EU, by the way)

But when I place the zpak stuff in USB Storage/Android/data (which is where it is on Tablets) and place the APK anywhere, when I install the APK, it says "Application not installed" and says nothing more.

Incidentally, I'm compiling MediEvil II.

I have the same problem. I tried to use crash bandicoot APK that comes with my tablet - but PSXperia says "Cannot extract APK! Java says Cannot find config for this APK (CRC32: D1EEDC9F)". Please help!

Read my post from 3 months ago: https://github.com/yifanlu/PSXperia/issues/31

The tablet S does not use playstation pocket, instead the emulator is a part of the operating system. Creating a file to be installed into an app that does not exist it will not work.

Think of it as trying to install windows software on a mac, it needs a small tweek in the file type for it to work, I'm not sure on the current status of this being added.
