Incorrect Unicode handling and missing validation #32

The OT code doesn't work correctly for characters outside the range
U+0000...U+FFFF.
Also, the code doesn't ensure that its input and output strings are well-formed
UTF-8/UTF-16.

It seems that when making an account, and inserting passwords such as "á" or
"áéíóú" makes the server crash with error 500...should there be a
restriction that none of those characters be used? or should the server accept
those characters?

Ah, this bug is about wave documents and the OT code. You seem to be having
trouble with the user registration system, which is entirely separate. Please
file a separate bug.
