Hello! May I suggest that you add support for non-human genes to 1) enable use in model organisms, 2) learn more biology. A good place to start would be to add Gene Descriptions for the eight other species from Alliance Genome [https://www.alliancegenome.org/downloads#gene-descriptions]. I am also attaching a files for mouse and zebrafish in case you are interested in trying it out. GENE-DESCRIPTION-TXT_MGI.txt.gz GENE-DESCRIPTION-TXT_ZFIN.txt.gz
