@LizDoUrden, how about other input methods in this case, like the Apple's
pinyin input method? looks like
chrome does not work so nice with IMKit.

Apple's built-in input method has the same problem. The only input method I've
used and doesn't
have this problem is FIT (experimental version). Not sure if it's IMKit.

FIT does not have this issue, is probably because FIT does not reset IM (i.e.,
handle
commitComposition method) ... need more investigation ...

fixed in sunpinyin-macos-2.0.1, but fixed with cost, now switching focus will
cause the preedit string be
committed :( ...
