adds catch for missing (local) image #31

If a local image does not exists, it should not throw an exception and blocks the page.

This should have been fixed already with a later release. Because of some refactoring I decided to not include this PR after all. But still many thanks for addressing this issue.

I'll close this issue for now. Feel free to reopen if there is still something bugging you.
