In Ubuntu 14.04, nothing special ( gnome flashback ) While we have 3 outputs in sound parameters:

soud_parameters

only the current one is proposed in the switcher

soundswitcher

Which is a bit odd :-)

Digital outputs usually fall on a different profile, which this indicator doesn't currently support, see #3.
