version 2.1.1 doesn't show inputs or outputs #40

I just upgraded to version 2.1.1 through the PPA. This version doesn't list my webcam under inputs, and it doesn't list my usb headset under either inputs or outputs. The previous version I had installed worked just fine. This is a very useful little indicator so I really hope this issue can be fixed! Thank you so much!

OK, this is embarrassing. Turns out that a USB hub cable just came loose. Sorry for any alarm, and again thanks for your work!
