Hi, for Scripts you should do Mapping of Audio / Subtitlestreams like this: -map 0:a:m:language:deu? -map 0:a:m:language:ger? -map 0:a:m:language:eng? -map 0:a:m:language:und? -map 0:s:m:language:deu? -map 0:s:m:language:ger? -map 0:s:m:language:eng? this maps (in my case) all english and german audio and subtitle streams.

the ? at the end means "when available" the Audiomapping with "und" means undefined Language (When you got Files, that have no proper Audio Tag)

Interesting. Well in my case I know what track languages I care for. But I assume each user has to identify the same on their script, correct?

Or am I missing something?

True. I habe a Bash Script that autoconvert all Files in a directory.. So with this type of mapping, i dont must look into every file for the correct order.. It arrange video, than all german audio, then all english audio, than unknow languagr, than the subtitles (german first) into the final mkv ..

The question mark at end of language select prevents an errormessage when one language is not availabe (eg a german movie without english audio)

Selection is done with the international language code (eh jpn for japanese).
