As result "Start Guided Tour" link leads to 404 page without subfolder in the URL. image

@Sanchiz this is more wider topic than just a homepage change. First of all - we have a lot of places where installation without demo content makes no sense. E.g. required fields, with references to taxonomy vocabulary which was not installed, because DEMO content skipped during installation. Demo content needs review and split to optional and required. Required should be installed no matter what end user chosen during installation. Once this is fixed - chaning homepage, which is demo content as well = subtask to finish and polish all demo flow. Does it make sense for you, Alex? If yes - estimate for reviewing demo content and split could be about 40-60h, correct of I'm wrong. Once agreed - @ymcagtc @YMCA-GTC let's add to our roadmap as UX improvement.

@podarok the issue has been created 2 years ago, March 22, 2017. It should be completely revisited.

We need to have some statistic to make the decision on how often people install distro without demo content.

Continues to be a low priority - primarily to the development experience. Revisit in December 2020 for a fix in 2021.
