quit function not described in DG #9

We feel that the implementation of the quit command is very trivial. Not including it improves the readability of the developer guide and allows future developers to focus on what's important.

Reason for disagreement: Although I do agree that the implementation of the quit command is quite trivial, I do also believe the DG should be a comprehensive document, and should include something, even if very short and minor, about the quit command
