Couple the petrological-thermomechanical model in I2VIS #1

Dear Yury A. Mishin, I am sorry to bother you. I am a PhD student in Peking University of China. At present, I am using I2VIS code to conduct a research about the fate of subducted continental curst.I have read you article many times before, 'Dynamics of double subduction: Numerical modeling'. I noticed that a fully coupled petrological-thermomechanical model based on Gibbs free energy minimization is used in your experiments. Now I have calculated the density structure of upper, middle and lower continental crust using Perple_X and I want to couple the petrological density into thermomechanical model, however, I don't know how to modify the code in I2VIS. Could you please help me to couple the petrological-thermomechanical model in I2VIS The density evolution of continental crust and mantle.docx ? Thank you very much. Appreciate!

Dear Yang,

Last time I worked with I2VIS about 10 years ago. I'm afraid I would not be able to help you at this time. I suggest you to contact Prof. Taras Gerya - the author of I2VIS and my PhD supervisor. Good luck!
