hi
in fact i've been working on an homemade JavaScript engine
I've added (using cooleyes MP4 decoding sample) mp4 file support to the engine
so i started to work on the graphic user interface. but i was unable to blit
alpha image to screen, that piss me off during 2 day and then i remember that
wipeout pulse used a system able to call C functions directly from javascript's
netfront browser.
so i worked on the HtmlViever Utility reversing, i made a system to dump the
parameter passed to netfront (that parameters was not in the pspsdk). I
annalized them and i was able to made my own plugin ! At this moment the plugin
do some file routine (read write list),download asynchronous file to the
MemoryStick, start to play a MP4 stored on the MS.
So i made a JS program to play MP4 file (fmt:18) from youtube

i can play youtube's MP4 at full speed and in higher quality than PSPtube.
but i have to work on 3 things :
> add audio support (i must understand how MP4 packets are made)
> add FLV demuxing (cooleyes made it on PPA so i think it's quite possible to
port it)
> fix some random crash (after several play the PSP crash at playback starting)

wololo's mod locked the topic because the submission was to "youg" for a public
release, i totaly understand it, that why i'm working to make it more end-user
friendly

about eboot sound :
i already listened a track from him : Dizzee Rascal - Flex (Dave Spoon remix)
but my style was more : SebastiAn,Danger,Kavinsky, boys noise, justice, and so on
...
btw i uploaded a pack wich contain all the rejected Go!Tube sound.

and about memory usage :
at this moment i'm "only" using 9Mo :
4Mo are reserved by the Mpeg library (wich must be 4Mo aligned) that why, (at
least) 8Mo must to be reserved (but I choose 9Mo) and 3Mo for the netfront
browser's VPL

i can give you my actual work if you really need to test ^^.

they just contain a sound track to be tested from the XMB so they don't contain
any program.
