Apart of "Snoozing" and more in the realm of "Subscribing" or "Watching" a particular comment or entity I really enjoy Slack's "Remind me later" functionality where I can pick a comment and make it important to me, for later:
pick a comment
So this isn't a "notification" message per say but a feed item. Does slack just notify you later as if that message was never read and sent again?
So it would be on the comment in the feed. Then after _{timeframe} I would get a new message in the inbox taking me back to that comment.
Seems like a niche but cool feature, I wonder how much it is used in Slack...

Slack has a separate "bookmarked"-like setup where the Remind me laters are under "Later" (originally they showed up under the "Slackbot" chat channel you have that is personal to yourself.)
It basically saves it for later and then gives it a due date it seems. E.g. a message may be highlighted blue (when remind me later is clicked) with something like:
It then gives you a notification (e.g. regular Windows one) at the exact due date time.
The Ynput community forum has something somewhat similar.
There you can bookmark a post:
Which will provide you options for reminders:
These "bookmarks" then show under your profile's bookmark page like regular bookmarks, but are additionally set with a timestamp it seems, like:
And the bookmark comes with a timestamp:
Story
There's something important that I want to be reminded of at a later date.
