SVG conversion using rsvg-convert #95

rsvg-convert is capable of converting SVGs to PDFs without rasterising. It's a 
smaller tool than Inkscape and should probably be used instead. It's been 
included as librsvg2-bin in at least Debian and Ubuntu for several years now.

NB: I haven't managed to scale the converted PDF properly, this could be a 
blocker for rsvg-convert.

This sounds interesting, and if you can get it working properly, it does seem 
like a better default.

I would be happy to look at this again once you've had some good experience 
making it work :)

Also, I'd need to be able to easily get it for macs, which might be a blocker.  
Do let me know what you find out.  Meanwhile, I'm closing this bug.  Please 
reopen if you get more information.
