This is the same as issue #4. The attached pull request should fix it.
Thanks @travishorn . It does fix the problem. I wish this pull request would be integrated soon!
As a workaround, for now.. edit C:\Users\YourUser\AppData\Roaming\npm\node_modules\smog\package.json
and set the vein dependency to 0.3.4
Then run npm install
in the smog directory.
