Dear all,

I would like to see the following feature:

Currently during Japanese input when entering a string in roman letters
starting with an uppercase letter the whole phrase remains in roman letters
(half width):
    Preining
will not convert to any kana/kanji. This is a very useful feature.

I would like to see this extended to add *additional* characters that behave in
the same way. Of course, this list should be configurable.

For example for my purpose writing Japanese in TeX I would like to see
    \foobar
being treated like the above, i.e., automatically converted to roman only.

Maybe there is already a way to achieve this, but I couldn't find anything in
the configuration dialog of mozc

(running Debian unstable, mozc 1.13.1651.102)

Thanks a lot and all the best

Norbert
