Hi there,
This is likely to be related to Debian bug #939765. I haven't been able to reproduce that.
If you can reproduce it easily, it would be good if you could run it from a terminal and then reproduce it. The output that you then receive in your terminal would be helpful to help me debug it.
I don't have it on my laptop though, so I can't tell you what the problem would be...
Hi,
Thank You very much for your quick answer and help. I'll investigate ASAP and keep you aware. Thanks !

that is not related.. fdpowerdown dissapears when battery its full , that must be checked first ( debian bug reports dont provide such details)
after some time (1 day, two days or more, depending may be on my computer activity) the process hangs on and doesn't execute anymore (no icon refresh, no values refresh).
this happened in some window manager by example jwm that some of their process hangs after a while (1 day or more), to confirm if there is a bug you must provide more details, cos in such case will be not an issue per se of the fdpd
Hi Yoe,
I've been using fdpowermon for a few weeks. I customed it a little bit and I love it (I didn't know Pearl before). But ! Most of time, I don't close my session from day to day; I just hibernate my Linux Mint machine (see below). Unfortunately, after some time (1 day, two days or more, depending may be on my computer activity) the process hangs on and doesn't execute anymore (no icon refresh, no values refresh). Any help would be much appreciated !
A few details about my configuration : HP EliteBook 1040G3 (~ 2017) 8 Gb RAM Linux Mint 21.1 Cinnamon 5.6.7 Kernel 5.15.0-67
Thanks ! Philippe (France)
