datepicker does not show days when date is not valid in input field #4

because of other bugs i did a rewrite. i rewrote it as a module. i used vanilla javascript. its here on github: https://github.com/hhvdblom/vanilla-datepicker

If you put a not valid date in the datepicker field and click on it the datepicker won't show up with days. In my rewrite when a date is not valid I take the date of today and then show the datepicker.
