Yogesh,
Looks great, this exercise is intended in part to give you an introduction to the general rhythm of this course. The course is entirely project-based with an app being assigned each week and then due the following week. Each project builds on the last to help each engineer learn the practical elements of Android development and best practices as quickly as possible. We also do a code review for each submitted project once the program begins.
Great to see you were able to complete some extension tasks already as well. The extension tasks available on each project are often the most valuable learnings since they dive deeper into common real-world Android use cases.
The next step is to continue working on extensions to your todo app and to schedule a short 10 minute phone conversation with us. Navigate to today's date and onward from there and choose an available 15-minute slot in the mornings or evenings. Let us know if none of those times work.
Once you select a slot, can you make sure to include the best number to reach you at in the invite? Look forward to chatting soon!
Also, you seem to be quite experienced with Android already. This course is focused on teaching practical Android assuming limited prior knowledge. Are you worried about the course containing too much review for you given your experience?
Hi Nathan,
Thanks for the review!
Firstly, I have been following Codepath for a while and I really like the work you guys have been doing, especially with variety tutorials available for everyone for free. Personally, they have helped me a lot in my day-to-day work as well as learning new skills continuously.
Secondly, I still feel I am an intermediate developer and need to learn more. My expectation from this course are the following:
Thanks again and talk to you soon!
Ok we can chat about it further on our call and figure out if it'd be a good fit. Most important thing for me is to make sure every participant has a good experience. Talk to you soon.
Hi, My app is complete, please review. /cc @codepathreview @codepath
Thanks, Yogesh Shrivastava
