Escape on remote is not exiting from video/audio settings within video that is playing

Are you using Boxee or XBMC?
Boxie
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Start video
2.Enter settings to adjust real time audio and video settings
3.Attempt to use the X button or back arrow to escape back to movie

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Should work as though escape key was hit and close the video/audio settings
menu and go back to the movie that is still playing in the back ground. 
Instead there is no way to exit without using a connected keyboard and
hitting escape button.

Please provide any additional information below.

I've had similar issues. In my case, you go into Settings -> General in Boxee. 
I could 
not escape from that menu easily by only using the remote. 

I'm not sure if this has the same root cause and\or fix as your issue, but it 
may.

This is something that needs fixing. I hate getting off the couch ;)
