Never loads

This app completely fails for me - I need to reattach it to dropbox every time I want to mount my 'drive' and it never manages to fully connect - it just gives me a series of messages saying it it taking too long and do I want to abort, and keeps repeating this until I have to abort. It shows an assortment of old files, and empty files, nothing recent, and never a complete set.

It is behaving very strangely. I aborted it, but it remained active - when I tried to restart it, it said it was mounted (and asked for permission from Dropbox).

It eventually, as always, ends up showing an incomplete list, with many empty files, and lists them in reverse alphabetical order despite being sorted to show newest first.

Probably, the Dropbox server returned the error HTTP status code 429. It means the count of requests was too large and the limit exceeded. Could you find the error code (maybe, it is red) in the last of console logs?

Probably, the Dropbox server returned the error HTTP status code 429. It means the count of requests was too large and the limit exceeded. Could you find the error code (maybe, it is red) in the last of console logs?

• There are many files in the root folder (over 50 files).
• These files in the root folder were listed.
• When you open some file or enter some folder, then nothing happened.

Yes, there are many fiies, though this is not a problem for other apps, for example my Android file manager is capable of fully rendering and updating Dropbox quickly and smoothly.

No, what happens is that the Chromebook app runs and runs, and gives constant requests to abort. The result is always a highly incomplete listing of files, with many files empty, just filename returned. Any operation just leads to the cycle of lag, hanging and abort requests. Most recent files are never listed.

@mandoran What is its meaning "many files empty"? What is its meaning "a highly incomplete listing of files"? What is its meaning "Most recent files are never listed"? I cannot understand these expressions yet. Could you provide the evidences like the screen capture?

@mandoran I thought that this issue caused by many API accesses at the same time. That is, if there are many files in certain directory, and if you open the directory by the Files app (it was the root directory in your case), my application will retrieve all file's contents at the same time to create the preview image. Fortunately, the File System Provider API provides the property "opened_files_limit" to limit the max number of the files opened. In the version 1.1.1, you can set the value by the configuration popup. Also, I set the devault value as 10. Please test the latest version of this application, and let me know whether this issue is fixed or not, if possible.
