Some operations are taking longer than expected #77

@rsholmes Thank you for the reporting. At least, I have fixed two problems: 429/400 errors. Could you confirm whether you can reproduce the issue with the latest version?

Version 1.3.11 seems to be behaving better. I saw the timeout message once or twice but only when indeed Chrome was very busy starting up or the network was slow.
