Hello,

this is not a bug issue. I just wanted to thank you for your work and especially for publishing it as open source. It helped me much to build my own mesa machine emulator in Java8.

Although there is the Dawn disk providing a basic XDE, there is no Mesa Development Environment available (compiler, binder, sword, interface files). Having developed with Mesa for XDE and ViewPoint at the Technical University of Berlin in the nineties, I am missing those tools a bit (to be honest: much), it was one of the best development environments at that time...

Is there any chance that Xerox may publish the mesa development tools (or even Cedar etc.)? The Alto software and documentation was already published (but is useless for the more the modern XDE, as incompatible with Pilot/XDE and using a different/older mesa instruction set).

Anyway: many greetings from Berlin/Germany Dr. Hans-Walter Latz (or: devhawala in github)

Hello,

Do you have interest of unpublished work of mesa and pilot source code? If you have let me know.

Regards, Yasuhiro Hasegawa

PS. Recently my health condition has changed more than I expected. So I believe this is a time to release my holding to someone.

Hello and good morning,

i would of course gladly help to preserve any parts of the Mesa environment. So yes, i'm interested in whatever you can provide for having an additional backup around the world.

However i'm very sorry to hear that you are not going well and wish you all the best for recovering your health!

Regards, Hans

Thanks for quick response,

I upload files to https://volafile.org/r/uuqqp8cc (volafile.org keeps file for 2 days). BDFTOFON.exe - convert bdf font to windows font. Documents.taz - contains mesa related documnets I collected. bdf.taz - contains fonts file used in XDE MesaPilot.taz - contains complete copy of AMesa/14.0 15.0 15.0.1 15.0.2 15.03 and APilot/15.0.1 15.2 15.3. Sorry for lost fIle time stamp.

I hope these files help for your work.

Regards, Yasuhiro Hasegawa

Thanks for the quick upload. This will be heavy browsing and reading this evening after returning from work. I added a file with my mail address to your volafile directory, if you wish to contact me directly.

Greetings from Berlin Hans

Hello!

I saw this issue now, and I would also like to thank you for the work you've done! Is there any chance you can re-upload the files you mentioned earlier? The volafile seems to be expired.

I wish you a speedy recovery! -blw
