The units used by home chefs are not always recorded in SI unit. For example, when users want to keep track of canned tunas, it would be more convenient for the user to use cans as the unit rather than measuring the weight and storing it in SI unit. Hence, we allow all types of units to give users flexibility to choose what is most convenient for them

The app currently allows all type of unit metric.
But as a user, using the find command, it is very confusing when i search for the quantity to be 20 but it returns both 20 kg and 20g as both are not the same. Perhaps the the units should be standardized to only allow the SI units to make it clearer.
Similarly, if grams and g are the same, perharps they should be enforced to be the same when searching.
