What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Update to version 2.8.1 firmware hexacopter
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
with an older version, I got GPS 3D fix in 10 t0 30 seconds.
now it takes forever - connected for hours now (battery charge?)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
APM v.2.5.1 FC, uBlox Lea 6 GPS v.1.1 (all new) OS= Win 7 ultimate (64x)

Please provide any additional information below.
I also upgrade to the mission planner (MP) to the recent version 1.2.20
After hours, all components are cool or barely warm. the blue and red led
flashes slow, the yellow leds near the GPS connector flashes quick.
the red led on the GPS board is solid all time.
All parts original from 3dRobotics.

Old issue. I hope you have solved the problem.
Note if only the red LED on the uBlox is solid then you don't have a fix (the
blue LED on the uBlox module will flash when you have a fix)

Hi, thank you for your comment. What happened is, that the GPS was faulty. I
send it back from Germany to 3DRobotics (USA) and got a new one after a while
........ Well, bad luck and I hope such thing is "the exception". :)
