If I understand correctly, WGDdetector outputs dS values averaged for clusters which sometimes contain more than 2 genes. If a cluster has, for example, 5 genes, this means there were 4 gene duplications. However, since WGDdetector reports only 1 value, 3 of these duplications will not be represented in the results. Am I right? Why was it made in such a way?
