fixes to cv.glmmLasso #6

I made these changes a few years ago to help a student who was having trouble with cv.glmmLasso. I honestly don't remember the details at all, but @mebrooks says that they resolve some issues she's having with cv.glmmLasso. Hopefully there's some good testing code to make sure I didn't mess anything up?

Thanks! It's definitely been a while since I looked at this package, as it was part of my dissertation.

I am sure today me will be horribly disappointed in 10 year ago me :)
