Problem compiling project in ROS #15

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Follow the instructions in the wiki for Guest installs
2. Run ~/ros/ua-ros-pkg/arrg/make-all.sh

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I hoped for it to compile without errors, this is what I get

echo $ROS_PACKAGE_PATH

Daniel,

It looks like your setup.sh does not contain paths to our packages, and that's 
why it can't find them when you try to 
compile them. Did you install ROS separately and then downloaded our packages?

You can fix this by modifying the ROS_PACKAGE_PATH environment variable in 
/home/daniel/ros/setup.sh, like 
so:

export 
ROS_PACKAGE_PATH=/home/daniel/ros/foote-ros-pkg-read-only:/home/daniel/ros/ua-ro
s-
pkg:/home/daniel/ros/pkgs:/home/daniel/ros/ua-cs665-ros-pkg:/home/daniel/ros/cmu
-ros-pkg-read-only

Let me know if that works for you.

Alternatively you can move cmu-ros-pkg-read-only, foote-ros-pkg-read-only, 
ua-cs665-ros-pkg and ua-ros-pkg inside 
/home/daniel/ros/pkgs folder.

Well, it did move forward and downloaded and compiled a lot of stuff but it's

Daniel,

We will look into that, seems like this file was removed for some reason in the 
last few days. For now if you don't need 
gbbopen blackboard you can just modify the make_all.sh script and remove 
"ua_cognition" and "ua_experimental" so 
they don't build.

Daniel,

I just did a fresh checkout of gbbopen package and it did compile just fine. 
Maybe you caught it in the middle of some 
commits, when you checked it out. Can you delete the gbbopen folder and do an 
"svn up" to get a fresh copy and then try 
to compile again?

I'm just getting more of these errors, I think I'll just reinstall ROS from 
scratch.

Try removing ros folder and follow instructions for Guests on this page:

http://code.google.com/p/ua-ros-pkg/wiki/DeveloperInstall
