What is the feature you want?

How important is it to you?

Do you think other people also want this feature and why?

What is the feature you want?

     1. add global speaking function to setting: repeat times, repeat interval, only speak frontside or backside.
     2. give study, preview and list mode an uniform speaking ability and look: tap to speak. and remove the audio choice from menu.
     3. give preview mode and list mode an ability of automatical speaking.
     4. ability to switch between the other two modes. Now for instance, in study mode user can only jump to preview mode. and the previously mentioned removed audio menu can be filled by these options.

How important is it to you?

Very important. Flexibility is the key.
     1. In study mode, we are encouraged to "think." That means we need to link the studying word to the others, using our imagination. Sometimes I know I'v learnt words with similar or related meanings, so I may jump to list mode for quick search. But right now, I can't.
     2. The problem for study mode is we have to consume all the words we learnt before we can keep going everyday. Soon we'll be swamped by old words everyday, and don't have any process. It's kind of disappointed. For GRE learning, we need a regular plan ( say 450 words per day), so I'll use list mode or preview mode to study. But right now they can't "tap to speak", and I need to use dictionaries instead. By the way, I need "mark read" funtion to the three modes. The reason is the same.

Do you think other people also want this feature and why?
I think lots of people in the forum are talking about the same thing. for instance,
http://code.google.com/p/anymemo/issues/detail?id=28
http://code.google.com/p/anymemo/issues/detail?id=83

we need more flexible means to learn languages, but only study mode. and I
think anymeo don't have to change a lot. It can acheived by providing equal
abilities to the three modes, and the audio function is a good start.
