Sticky sorting selection #234

What is the feature you want?

When I show the Card List of an AnyMemo flashcard set, I can tap the 3 vertical
dots in the upper right hand corner of the screen, then “Sort by”, and then
select Ordinal, Question or Answer. Good!

But it would be very nice if these choices were “sticky” and would remain
as selected until changed.

How important is it to you?

Quite important -- I almost always want to view the list as sorted by
“Answer”, and each time I see the card list I must again select that method
of sorting. This is very time consuming when I scan through the list, make a
change to one card, return to the list and must then change the sorting back to
“Answer”, find where I was, and so on.

I hope that “sticky sorting selection” is a feature you can easily
implement, because it would be very helpful to me.

Do you think other people also want this feature and why?

Yes, I think there may be other users who would benefit from this feature.
Anyone who puts vocabulary cards in "production style", with the known language
term or phrase as the question, the target language term/phrase as the answer,
would benefit from sticky sorting by "Answer". Others may prefer to always
sort by "Question". I don't think the current default sorting by "Ordinal" is
very useful, but some may find it so. I believe all would benefit by having
their choice stick until changed.

Thanks for an excellent product -- I use AnyMemo almost every day!
