I took the time to package this code for Arch Linux (it's in the AUR). While the packaging mostly went smoothly, I got hiccups with test case failures thanks to the Python versioning in the shebang lines. Here's a link to my fix.
This isn't necessary for the pygments_parser.py.in file because it respects Automake variables. I would appreciate it if the test cases did that also, so they could be run at build time and won't fail on systems where Python 2 is not the default.
