There have been lots of changes since the 0.2 'alpha' -- when will another
release be packaged?

I don't know when a new release will be made, but the SVN trunk should be
stable enough
to be used. But the next release should be made next year ;)

Any news on that? This project looks dead :(

Hope not, this is the best charting tool I know. Just a few tweaks and it's
great. To
get all the features you have to get the latest revision from subversion, not
from the
downloads page.

I know, I'm using that version. Actually, I'm using a totally hacked up version
of
that, since I needed to make major modifications to the logarithmic scale
functionality. I've posted patches, but those still haven't been integrated in
the repo.

This project is not dead, this is just that I am a web developer, and work on
web
projects all the time, and don't especially have time to work on this project
at home
;) I'm sorry if the activity is so low, I'd also really like this project to be
as
active as it was a few months ago.

We use Flotr in the web app we work everyday on, and when we'll have new needs,
this
project will be my number one priority (in a few months, and I hope it could be
sooner).

I use flotr in a commercial project as well, and it is rock solid. So why not
make a
new release to reflect that fact? It's a bit silly to ask people to check out
the svn
tree to get the latest version.

Sure, Peter, you are right. What revision of the project do you use in your
project?

Out of necessity (issue 21 here) I just updated it to HEAD.

This has yet to be tested more thoroughly, though! The code of my logarithmic
patch
has been in a staging environment for a few months now and I'm pretty sure we've
shaken out most bugs.

The revision I started with must've been 152 since I started this project in
December
and used flotr HEAD back then.
