Twitch video player buttons become unclickable a few minutes after opening/loading a stream #280

Describe the bug Twitch video player buttons become unclickable after opening a stream with Ads. You can temporarily fix this by refreshing the page, though it'll happen again after a few minutes. Started occurring after updating to the latest version of the TTV LOL PRO extension for Firefox.

I found that this issue does not occur when watching streamers with Ad rolls disabled on their channel.

To Reproduce

  1. Open a stream that has Ads enabled
  2. Wait a few minutes (can sometimes take 10-15 minutes)
  3. Try clicking on any of the Twitch Player buttons

Expected behavior Should be able to click on the twitch player buttons

Do you use any uBlock script like VAFT?

This is caused by VAFT

I also have this issue and I do not use VAFT. It is fairly recent, not sure exactly how long, maybe a few weeks.

If using uBO (or any other compatible blocker), add the following cosmetic filter:

www.twitch.tv##.stream-display-ad__container_lower-third

I haven't had any issues since adding that, and I also had the same problem and I don't use VAFT either.
