I am not sure if this is still the case, but I remember if you got accepted to an event you applied to you received an automated e-mail congratulating you. I wonder if this is something that can be changed to be more useful.
There are many guides for different EYP teams. Most people I work with in EYP Media report not using the communications materials because of not knowing their existence. Perhaps after congratulating the e-mail can say something like "As you will be working in the Media Team, here are some guidelines, structures and tools you can read up on that are relevant for your role before the session: LINK TO THE COMMUNICATIONS MATERIAL TAB"
This can be adapted for other roles as well, but overall I think it might help lots of people discover useful features. In media this can be requesting IG takeovers, contributing to the EYP stock pictures, etc.
Lord knows I would've not discovered the communications manual on my 4th time editing if I had something like this, so maybe we can help more EYPers!
