To ideate on the 'internal communication' front, perhaps some kind of a 'follow' feature built into the platform could help facilitate the notifications feature? Members can follow NC's they are 'interested' in and get notifications when this NC has a new event out. Similarly, this could be applied to other variables like roles (get a notification when an MTM call is out) or event types (get a notification when a call is out for NSC's).

This can both populate the notification section with 'wanted' notifications that users can actually care about (and not just be perceived as spam) but also help facilitate active usage of this new platform.

This feature should be prioritised amongst most other new features as it would actively help with ensuring more people are involved and apply to events! Especially the subscription to announcements for calls for certain positions would be highly beneficial for the network!
