Super-admin account proxying - troubleshoot "action unauthorized" error

Many of us super-admin users in IATI Support have at some point seen the error screen below when trying to proxy into an organisation's account on the live IATI Publisher site.

It is hard to replicate as it doesn't appear to be certain organisations that cause it. I can share a video of what happens if helpful :

• I proxy in to an organisation's account from the Organisation List page
• I see the error screen below, so click the browser's "back" button,
• I reload the list of organisations and re-proxy into the same organisation's account

Normally this then works but I may have to repeat the reload process 2 or 3 times. It's something we've been aware of for a while, but would like to understand as it can get frustrating.

Does the YI team have any idea what's causing this?

We are not sure why this error is occurring. We have to explore the code and debug it. Do you want us to estimate for the exploration?

@praweshsth - before starting to explore the code, is there more information that would be useful from one of us in IATI Support to help debug this? (given that it's an intermittent issue and hard to replicate)

e.g. video of the issue occuring, browser logs, etc

As we were not able to replicate the issue, we don't have the video. It seems like issue other than that could occur because of a faulty code. We also checked the error logs, we didn't see anything in it regarding this.

I'm pausing further investigation into this as it's not essential for the moment. I will keep an eye on it and collect further evidence of it happening in case we revisit it later.
