MySql Notifier not able to start/stop/restart MySql Service #197

I had this same issue a few days ago but I figured out a way to fix it, hopefully it works for you as well:

  1. right click on MySQL Notifier -> Actions -> Manage Monitored Items
  2. highlight the MySQL56 entry and click the delete button
  3. click the add button -> windows service, scroll down the list till you find MySQL56, highlight it and click ok

you can now close the menu and you should be able to start/restart/stop your server as before
